Surf City 'Winter Wonderland' Draws Large Crowds

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—With an ice rink overlooking the ocean for skaters of all skill levels, live entertainment, and more, Surf City’s “Winter Wonderland” on the pier is open to visitors until Jan. 8.
Those wanting to skate may purchase tickets for $22, and sign a safety waiver before entering. Socks and gloves will also be available for purchase at the rink at an additional cost.
"It's just totally random to be ice skating while looking at a sunny beach," visitor and Bellflower resident Remonda Hany told The Epoch Times. "But we're having a blast."

For shoppers, local artisans are also on-site showcasing their unique and handcrafted works, including colorful glass finely ground and assembled into renditions of iconic paintings, customizable bath salts and body washes, nautical jewelry, flash-frozen candies, and more....
