Patrick Kasong Muyej, 48, and Chisanga Mable Scott, 43, were indicted on one count each of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Chad E. Meachum announced Monday in a news release.
In March 2020, the Paycheck Protection Program, also known as PPP, was established under the CARES Act to provide emergency funds to small businesses suffering economic impact due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
